The adidas SLVR Label’s key message is ‘Simply Perfect’. It reflects the new label’s connection to adidas as well as the values of all SLVR products. The SLVR range shows a timeless and considered design; one that conveys a minimalist character, yet is fresh and progressive.
The adidas SLVR Label (reading adidas Silver Lable or Silver in short), the collection consists of strong basic pieces in simple black and white with accents provided in maroon, orange and shades of blue. The SLVR signature colour, gun metal grey, appears on a few key styles. The items are affordable, attainable and ultimately wearable, providing classic staples for anyone’s individual wardrobe.
Key products that reflect both the ideals of reducing complexity and enhancing creative solutions in the design and production process are the ‘7 Piece Shoe’ and the ‘Zero Waste Tee’. The ‘7 Piece Shoe’ consists of a 6 piece upper stitched to a 1 piece outsole; whereas most sneakers are made of at least 25 individual pieces that are glued together.
The ‘Zero Waste Tee’ is made out of one piece of fabric that was cut once and uses a single stitch around the body to create its unique shape. Created in a 3 step method, it is much simpler than any other T’s on the market. Both items are unique in their simplicity, yet comfortable and long lasting. adidas SLVR materials include sustainable organic cotton, soybean fabric, water resistant nylon and coated natural canvas in comfortable and light weight executions, perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2009 season and the tropical country like Thailand. The launch collection includes men’s & women’s apparel, footwear and accessories.
adidas SLVR Label will be available in stand alone stores in Paris, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and China. Bangkok store is the first and only SLVR Store in South East Asia locates at Floor 1, Atrium 1, Siam Center. The target group is fashion lovers age from 20-35 years old.
SLVR is the PURE fashion label within the adidas Sport Style Division. The Sport Style Division also includes Y-3, the sport-inspired luxury label as well as adidas Originals, the original lifestyle brand that celebrates originality.
