Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX)’s Board of Directors (BoD) approved GT Wealth Management Co., Ltd., to be the fifth gold related agent, which will start trading on May 11, 2009.
“GT Wealth Management was also approved by Thai Clearing House Co., Ltd. and Securities and Exchange Commission under the same standards as other TFEX members,” reported TFEX Managing Director Kesara Manchusree.
“GT Wealth Management is a joint-venture owned by Mr. Jitti Tangsitpakdee, Gold Traders Association of Thailand Chairman and a large group of gold wholesalers who have long experience and specialize in gold trading. This will help to effectively expand our investor base and develop the gold futures market. Including GT Wealth Management, there are now a total of 41 TFEX members,” concluded Ms. Kesara.
