Bangkok--11 May--Fragrant Property Fragrant Property, a leading condominium developer, said that it continues to remain optimistic about the future of the condominium sector in Bangkok and was continuing to work on its earlier plans of launching new projects in the near future although the markets currently may look subdued. Fragrant said that as part of its efforts to keep the market aware of its work the firm would continue to hold events which are aimed at building the confidence among buyers. The property firm said that it continues to remain optimistic that the commercial operations of the ‘Airport Link’ would help support the potential to the condominium development on the route of the project. James Duan, managing director of Fragrant Property, disclosed that sale of condominium market seems to be slow since the beginning of this year which is normal because buyers are lacking confidence in economy and political situation in the country but that does not mean that purchasing order in the market has disappeared. Fragrant, he said, will keep an eye on direct communication with buyers, aiming to build confidence together with economic stimulus measures that were launched by the government. “We will join the property events throughout the year which is an effective way to communicate with buyers who could be looking at becoming our potential clients in the various property projects and each event has received good response since the beginning of this year, which has helped keep the sales of its Circle project on target,” he said. Fragrant Property, he said, will join booth in Siam Paragon Luxury Showcase, at Siam Paragon Department Store during May 14-22 by offering special promotion worth as much as 200,000 baht for a total 16 premium items for buyers who book condominium units during the event together with Buyback Option for studio type rooms which buyers are able to sell the unit back to Fragrant after the construction is completed with returns of no less than 10% on their investment. Mr James said Circle is expects to close sales by the end of this year especially when Airport Link starts commercial operations in August this year, while its other project Prime 11, worth 1.4 billion baht which is 90% sold out is expected to see its construction process completed by July this year. Sales of ‘Prime 11’ expected to close by the year end as well. “Most of our customers buy for their own living, even though some buyers have purchased the units for investment purposes. None of our clients are witnessing any kind of financial problem and none have been declined any mortgage loan request either,” he said. “The company is working for new development project despite slower growth of the economic and the company has not revised any of its business plans based on trust that demand for condominium in the city would continue to rise amid the changing lifestyle of the new generation,” Mr. James concluded.
