KTC will offer 3-year debentures with 5.50% coupon rate for general public on June 22nd to 24th. Minimum purchase is 100,000 Baht and interest payable quarterly.
Mr. Niwatt Chittalarn, President and Chief Executive Officer of “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said, “KTC will issue 3-year debentures with 5.50% coupon rate payable quarterly. This debenture is offering to general public as an attractive investment alternative at a minimum of 100,000 Baht with an incremental of every 100,000 Baht. The debenture is an unsubordinated and unsecured debenture with a debenture holder’s representative and issued in a registered certificate. TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. has ranked our debenture favourably at BBB+.”
“The proceed of this debenture issuance will be used to refinance existing debts, and will be used as working capital to support the company’s existing and future business. As of March 31st, 2009, KTC had over 2.15 million accounts, total 1,622,049 credit cards, and 529,890 “KTC CASH” personal loans accounts generating the net profit of Baht 101 million.”
