Yontrakit Automobiles, the sole distributor of Peugeot cars in Thailand, has developed a new business model and completed a major consolidation programme. The consolidation and restructuring of its systems and operations has led to a major change in how Yontrakit Automobiles is approaching the current market situation and has established a solid base for rapid expansion across Thailand with the emphasis on providing high quality cars and professional services to its growing customer base.
Under the restructuring programme, Yontrakit Automobiles has consolidated its operations at its head office and Blue Box dealership at 1048 Ramkhamhaeng Road, Huamak, Bangkapi, which is currently the only location to purchase a Peugeot in Bangkok. However, over the coming months Peugeot will be announcing a series of new dealerships that will form the start of its nationwide network and will open its flagship dealership in central Bangkok. Through the Yontrakit Automobiles dealership expansion programme Peugeot expects to have 20 Blue Box and service point dealerships across Thailand by the end of 2010.
To help re-establish the Peugeot in Thailand as a premium automotive brand Yontrakit Automobiles has also improved its sales and after sales services for its customers and has revamped all its internal operations and means of communicating with its customers to provide professional services and communications. This has resulted in improved delivery times of new vehicles, faster servicing and delivery of spare parts as well as more professional and attentive staff that can respond quickly to customer requests.
To support this expansion and drive Peugeot has partnered with the Mondial Assistance nationwide network that will provide 24 hour Peugeot call centre services and roadside emergency assistance facilities over the length and breadth of Thailand. This new service can be accessed through the new Peugeot Call Centre (02-305-4445) which will direct customers to their nearest service centre or contact the emergency breakdown service on behalf of the customer.
