Ogilvy on Recession is a series of seven booklets that illustrate how to turn the recession into an opportunity. It provides practical advice about the consequences of cutting, maintaining or increasing marketing spend according to Ogilvy’s own experience and understanding of winning during recessionary times. The book series comprises four themes including the advantages that can result from maintaining, or even increasing marketing budgets; how to set and evaluate a slimmed down budget for maximum efficiency; how to get more communications firepower for equal or less money; and how to reduce costs instead of cutting budgets
