Bangkok--22 Jul--Spark Communications
Kerry Express’ vision of providing ever improving services while lowering distribution costs has today taken another step forward with the signing of a joint operating agreement with Fastrak Services Limited.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kerry Express will utilize Fastrak’s express delivery services to pick up and deliver small packages throughout the Bangkok metropolitan area, mitigating the effects of Bangkok’s notorious traffic, ensuring efficient and fast delivery times.
Scheduled to connect with Kerry Express’ regular nightly trucking operations, Fastrak will pick up small packages on behalf of the company, providing Kerry’s customers with even more efficient next day services.
Kerry Express vehicle fleet is predominately 4 or 6 wheelers which provide a range of Nationwide Next Day services. Fastrak ’s motorcycles provide same day services in the nation’s capital and Eastern Seaboard.
With Kerry’s core business being next day service while Fastrak’s core business is same day service, the synergies of this cooperation ensure each company’s core business supports the other while providing increased value for the customer.
Robert Turner, General Manager of Kerry Express commented, “The signing of this agreement with Fastrak demonstrates Kerry’s commitment to providing the best express delivery services in the Thai market. By providing the best ‘last mile’ service level in combination with the most competitive pricing structure in the market, Kerry Express is fast becoming the preferred supplier of express delivery services in Thailand. ”
