Bangkok--27 Jul--Bumrungrad International
Dr. Winai Sawasdivorn, Secretary General of The National Health Security Office (NHSO), recently visited a child who was referred from Srisaked Province for heart surgery at Bumrungrad International hospital. The hospital has performed over 300 such surgeries since 2003, for underprivileged children with heart defects whose families cannot afford the complex surgery required. The hospital, under its Rak Jai Thai (‘Love Thai Hearts’) program, donates these surgeries free of charge. Rak Jai Thai is a joint effort by the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation, Bumrungrad International, the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand (CCF), and The National Health Security Office (NHSO).
