And Man invented Animals looks back at the way in which humans tamed wild animals and built up relationships of mutual dependency that have lasted to this day. Based on the most recent archaezoological discoveries, these films show how humans managed to take wild animals and turn them into tools that could be possessed, used, exploited, eaten, changed, manipulated... or sometimes loved.
