With the aims of creating a new phenomenon in the High Definition world and extending its base from the hi-end to middle-income customers, Pioneer continues its aggressive penetration of the Blu-Ray market this year with two new Blu-Ray disc players.
The company is confident that the growing popularity of Blu-Ray technology will drive its sales to the leading position as it continues to develop innovations in all segments: DVD players, HTX home theatre systems and amplifiers supporting Blu-Ray technology.

Pioneer is also joining forces with Catalyst Alliance (Thailand), distributors for international studios such as Warner Brothers, Twentieth Century Fox and Universal and its dealers to organize promotional campaigns that will reach more Blu-Ray disc player users in many places. These will include a campaign to give free discount coupons to purchasers of Blu-Ray disc movies.
At the latest Pioneer HD World, the company launched its two new innovations of Blu-Ray disc player, and exhibited the outstanding models of BDP-LX91 and BDP-LX71 for hi-end users that were launched last year.
BDP — LX52 Elegance Blu-Ray Disc Player
This high-performance Blu-Ray disc player promises perfect playback at 1080p, professional of 24-frames-per-second speed, at which theatre movies shot, mastered and screened. Its 48-bit video D/A converter support Deep Colour and x.v.YCC and HDMI 1.3a output, bring master quality motion pictures to your home with an unprecedented range of hues and shades, while Lip-Sync function corrects delayed sound and vision.
Efficiency of reading data is empowered by 3 Beam Laser diode and three functions of high-definition noise reduction: 3D Noise reduction, Block Noise Reduction and Mosquito Noise Reduction. The improved Jitter Reduction circuit developed by Pioneer proprietor’s Jitter-Free Audio Transmission technology decreases the distortion of digital signals during the conversion process on multi-channel system, ensuring complete freedom from jitter sound.
For the ultimate visual and sound experience, the player supports playback of your favourite movies, music and still images from extensive CD and DVD collections in a variety of formats including BD-ROM, BD-R/RE(BDMV/BDAV), DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R DL, AVCHD (MPEG4-AVC(H.264), CD, WMA, MP3, Divx and JPEG.
