Today (28th August 2009), Thai Airways International Public Company Limited held a Board of Directors’ Meeting chaired by Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, THAI’s Chairman, at THAI’s Head Office with the following announcement:
1. Approval for Organizational Restructure of the Corporate Strategy & Planning Department
THAI’s Board of Directors approved in principle the restructure of the Corporate Strategy & Planning and to workout further details of the organizational restructure.
2. Appointment of THAI’s Management
2.1 Mr. Pruet Boobphakam, THAI’s Managing Director (Vice President level), Cargo & Mail Commercial Department was appointed Executive Vice President, Commercial Department.
Mr. Boobphakam will also remain Acting Managing Director, Cargo & Mail Commercial Department.
2.2 Mrs. Chuda Dhanabhumi, THAI’s Special Activities Advisor was appointed THAI’s Vice President, Human Resources Planning & Development Department.
Effective as of 28th August 2009 onwards.
