Raimon Land Boosts Corporate Social Responsibility Programme With PATT And Local Students In Khao Yai

Bangkok--1 Sep--Raimon Land Luxury property developer, Raimon Land, once again joined with Plant A Tree Today (PATT) Foundation to plant trees at Ban Sap Tai in Khao Yai National Park as part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Representatives from Raimon Land together with students from Sap Tai School participated in a series of educational activities before the official opening of the Sap Tai School Tree Nursery. Those in attendance went on to plant trees to help reforest the surrounding area in the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, Khao Yai National Park, just a few hours’ drive from Bangkok. Raimon Land Deputy Vice-President Corporate Communications & Branding, Kwanrudee Maneewongwatthana, said: “Not only does Raimon Land’s support for PATT’s Sap Tai project and the students reflect the company’s continued commitment to its CSR programme, but it is the main avenue for us to offset our carbon emissions in Thailand.” PATT Founder, Andrew G. Steel, said: “Raimon Land’s long-term sponsorship of PATT’s initiative in the Khao Yai area is tremendously helpful in assisting us fulfil our vision to establish a nursery to provide the foundations for ongoing sustainable reforestation and community development projects in and around Khao Yai National Park.” The Khao Yai project aims to serve as a venue for educational activities for school children and provide a working resource for hands-on programmes. It will also provide employment and training in nursery management and reforestation for local people at on-site facilities.
