s.e.a restaurant at the award-wining dusitD2 baraquda pattaya, in collaboration with GranMonte Winery, recently hosted a successful Wine Dinner “The GranMonte wine dinner,” on 5 September 2009.
This special event started with a poolside gathering where the guests were delightfully greeted by “Nikki” Visootha Lohitnavy, Thailand’s first female wine maker and the enthusiastic dusitD2 staff and kick started their appetites for the evening to come with a great Rose’ and design canap้s. All enjoyed the scrumptious 5-course dinner specially created by Chef Allan Ho where his special dishes perfectly matched a selection of exceptional GranMonte wines. Guest were also indulged into a splendid sound of saxophone by Jazz bandleader Gavan Dunn who entertained the guests throughout the evening.
Not only it was the fine wines nor the gastronomic delights, but rather the spirit of dusitD2 that is always innovative and creative which set the pace for a memorable night and the delighted guests were just excited to be part of this magical evening.

Be prepared for the next wine dinner “One night in Prague,” whizzing up a sumptuous 5-course menu accompanied by Czech beers, Wines, and Absinthe. A fashion show and live music will be thrown into the mix, with a bohemian glass display and photo expo to add!
