“Oktoberfest” At Caf? De Nimes Restaurant of Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok On Sunday 20th September 2009
Known as the world's largest public festival, the Munich Oktoberfest has some six million people attending every year. During the two week-long event, millions liters of beer, hundreds of thousand of roasted chickens and sausages would be consumed. Located in beer tents serving the food and beers of regional German breweries and restaurants, the festival occurs on the Theresienwiese grounds, known fondly as just die Wiesn.
Fortunately, for those of us who can't make it to die Wiesn for the world's biggest party, an Oktoberfest will be organized at Grand Sukhumvit Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok (Sukhumvit 6) on Sunday 20th September, where German culture, food and beverages will be celebrated.
