Autumn is the best time of the year to enjoy mushrooms as they grow in abundance in European forests. Mushrooms complement almost any meal and are particularly nice saut?ed. From appetizers and soup to main dishes, mushrooms can be prepared in many different ways to add savory flavor, texture and delicate taste to your meal.
Throughout October 2009, Executive Sous Chef Dominique Martinez invites you to enjoy a delicious array of his culinary art cooked with wild mushrooms. Choose from “Roasted Pigeon with Wild Mushroom Fricassee with Polenta Pont Neuf and Course Jus”, “Garlic Studded Cod Fish with Oven Roasted Tomato and Chanterelle Mushrooms”, “Mushroom Risotto with Morel and Girole and many more. Prices start from Baht 350 ++.
Complete your mushroom feast with “V9’s Flaming Cocktails” or one of our very special Wine Flights. A wine flight consists of three sample glasses of wine for the price of one, the perfect way to taste and explore the difference between wines. Don’t forget to drop into our extensive Wine Cellar with 150 imported wines from countries all over the world at the entrance to V9, where our sommelier will help you select the perfect bottle to compliment your dinner. As usual, wines by the bottles are always available at retail prices.
Experience cool sounds selected by V9 DJs, ranging from Jazz, Lounge, Latin, to funky sounds and house. Prop at the long bar, sink into a soft chair or simply take a table for some excellent food and admire Bangkok’s skyline at V9 Wine Bar and Restaurant from the 37th floor of Sofitel Bangkok Silom, where “Life is Magnifique”.
