Dr. Adikiat Irmworaniran, Director of Yasothon Hospital (seated 2nd right), together with Mr. Sak Tanaprakob, Vice President of Amway for Thai Society Foundation (seated 1st right), Ms. Prathana Knapp, Community Relations Manager of Operation Smile Thailand (seated 1st left), and Dr. Apichai Angspatt, Head of Operation Smile Thailand’s physician volunteers (seated 2nd left), recently announced a new mission to help correct cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities in children. The 12th mission under “One by One: Operation Smile” project provided surgical treatment to kids with cleft lips and cleft palates in Yasothon and nearby provinces.
This year, Amway for Thai Society Foundation allocated 1.5 million baht as financial support for the project. The Foundation also formed a sizable team of volunteers that comprised Amway Business Owners, Amway staff, physicians, and nurses. The mission was completed today, giving surgical treatment to a total of 133 children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
