The first Goodyear Autocare shop is located in Om Yai, Nakhon Pathom province. It will serve Goodyear’s customers in the Southwest of Bangkok and its vicinity with the car care network’s new modern retail look, world-class regular vehicle maintenance services, greater variety of products, including tires, engine oil and batteries among others, and offerings. The car care shop is set to offer one-stop quick maintenance services, such as oil change, battery change and suspension service, in addition to the regular tire rotation, replacement and repair, wheel balancing and wheel alignment. Kongkiat Teekamongkol, managing director, Goodyear (Thailand) Plc, said, “Goodyear Autocare is a major part in our growth strategy. Through this world-class car care service network, we are bringing to customers nationwide greater convenience and access to Goodyear’s quality products and services. This is the first time that Thai customers will truly understand and experience a great difference in car care service. Goodyear Autocare is now ready to take customers’ experience and satisfaction with Goodyear to another level.” Thanks to its wide variety of quality products, not just Goodyear tires, and world-class service by well-trained staff members, Autocare is set to heighten customers’ confidence and satisfaction of quality products and service, which have already made Autocare highly successful in Australia and Malaysia. Under the new concept, all Autocare outlets nationwide will have the same shop design, look and feel and offerings that will increase brand visibility, convenience for customers and customer loyalty. Goodyear Autocare’s unique services span from pre, during and post service period. When customers arrive at the outlet, customers will be first questioned about their lifestyle and driving patterns. Through this “get to know” session, Goodyear Autocare staff will understand the real demand of the customers and make recommendation or find solution for the customers. Customers will also be informed of new promotions and special services beforehand in order that customers can make the right decision. While waiting for Autocare’s well-trained technicians to check and fix their cars, customers will be entertained by a variety of magazines and drinks, provided in the customers’ room, just like what they enjoy at home. After the service, Autocare staff will make follow-up calls for customers’ feedback. Fourteen day satisfaction guarantee is also offered for tires, meaning that customers can come back within 14 days and change the tires to a new model if they feel that the product they bought does not really meet their need. To ensure maximum customers’ satisfaction, Goodyear Autocare will regularly offer special promotions. Starting with the New Year season, Goodyear Autocare will offer free checking on the braking system from November to December to enhance customers’ peace of mind for safe trip during New Year holidays. Other special promotions include free battery checking from January to February, and free suspension and tire checking in March and April as people are going on Songkran holiday. Starting next year, a membership program will be launched. Goodyear Autocare cardholders will enjoy a greater range of exclusive promotion and privileges. Teekamongkol said, “The launch of Goodyear Autocare today also marks the new beginning in our business model. The Goodyear Autocare business is run by our partners who receive full support from Goodyear. Our commitment to the Thai market is strong and we are determined to help our partners succeed in their businesses too.” Goodyear is recruiting entrepreneurs to become its partners.
