Bangkok--25 Sep--Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers
Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers would like to announce the launch of “Sambal”, the new stylish alfresco grill dinning & Bar along the Chao Phraya River. “Sambal” Bali Modern in style and taste, Thai Heritage in detail. It is a new urban oasis space to escape from hustle and bustle Bangkok, simply by watching the sunset while sipping exotic cocktail from the bar riverside while chilling to the sultry sounds spun by the top DJs.
Sambal means chilli paste, a basic ingredient widely used in Southeast Asian cooking — Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Southern Thailand. The menu is the “heart” of Sambal. The freshest fish, the finest seafood and the most exotic of fruits and produce are all displayed “centre stage” for diners to choose from personally and then watch them sizzle away on a custom made, open-fired charcoal grill while they select their accompaniments: sambal, chutney, wasabi cream to name a few.The menu is designed for grazing across courses with a wide variety of a la carte appetizers, salads and sides. And, with a nod to a distant tropical Latin cousin, perfectly grilled and roasted meats are presented on spits and carved tableside.
Relaxingin screened nooks, or private “chill zones” allows for intimate dining or business conversation. If so desired, the whole place can be turned into one big barbecue party — “Bali-Thai” style, with live music and dancing of the latest mixes from hot spots around the world, including Bali, Ibiza, Marbella, Paris, London and New York. “Sambal” dances to its own beat…one that flows with the river… and brings you home.
