Our experienced chefs have created an irresistible choice of salads, breads, quiches and pizzas using a diverse range of the freshest seasonal mushrooms from East and West. The bounty from Europe includes wild chanterelles prized by the world’s great chefs, morels, also widely appreciated by gourmands for their earthy flavour, and the meaty porcini, while Asian kitchen favourites include the shitake, enoki and eryngi mushrooms.
Dishes served at The Med and Zest Bar & Terrace include the Japanese inspired salad of enoki, eringi and shitake mushrooms with a miso dressing, and braised oriental mushrooms and tofu Napoleon with a yellow bean dressing. Both dishes make a perfect accompaniment for the oven-baked wild mushroom quiche with crisp green leaves and a mimosa dressing.
Other dishes available for your dining pleasure are fried crepe parcels with chanterelle, cep and morel mushrooms, crisp pancetta and veal stock, the comforting dusted porcini mushroom cappuccino warm herb Panini roll, and the oven roasted mushroom pizza with melted provolone cheese and rocket salad. Perhaps the most intriguing dish is the cep and morel mushroom scented cr่me br๛l้e with a pistachio and walnut biscotti.
