Today (9 October 2009) at the Head Office of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, THAI held its Board of Directors Meeting chaired by Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, THAI’s Chairman. The following announcements were made:
1. THAI President
Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand is appointed as THAI President effective from 19th October 2009.
2. Framework on Corporate Strategy Plan
THAI Board of Directors today has given approval on the Framework of the Corporate Strategy Plan for the next 5 years. The company will look into the analysis on the future of aviation business, market need and consumer preference to enable suitable product and service development
3. New Appointment of THAI’s Management
Mr. Chokchai Panyayong, THAI’s Vice President, Asset Management Department, is appointed Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development Department effective from
9th October 2009.
