Cathay Pacific was once again named the Best Airline — Business Class by the votes of professionals in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries in the Asia-Pacific region cast in the TTG Travel Awards 2009.
TTG Media Asia is the Asia Pacific Region’s leading publisher for the travel and tourism industries, and also the organiser of major travel events in the Region. This is the 20th year in which it has held the TTG Travel Awards. Cathay Pacific is invariably featured in the list of award winners every year, and for the second consecutive year the airline took the award for Best Airline — Business Class.

Based in Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific flies to 144 destinations in 36 countries worldwide. The airline currently has 35 aircraft on order for delivery before 2013. At present, there are 122 aircraft in its fleet. With its sister airline, Dragonair, it has more than 17 destinations in China, making Cathay Pacific a genuine travel hub for the Asian-Pacific region.
With 35 flights every week, Cathay Pacific has the highest number of Bangkok-Hong Kong flights in the industry, while its sister airline, Dragonair, provides nine weekly Phuket-Hong Kong flights.
