100 PIPERS launches new TV commercial “Give” as the cornerstone of a 200 MB marketing campaign to communicate the ‘Give Friends 100%’ brand philosophy

Bangkok--19 Oct--Pernod Ricard 100 PIPERS Deluxe Scotch Whisky from Pernod Ricard Thailand retains its position as Thailand’s number 1 imported Scotch whisky and reinforces its ‘Real Friend, Real Experiences’ brand essence with the new TV commercial ‘Give’. Jeffrey Kimble, Marketing and Business Development Director, Pernod Ricard Thailand talks about the concept, “Give Friends 100% is more than just the 100 PIPERS’ brand philosophy, it is a call to action for all of us to give our friends our best. At 100 Pipers Deluxe Scotch Whisky we try to live up to this concept starting from product manufacturing and bottling in Scotland, customer service and of course in exciting marketing programs for our consumers. The “Give Friends 100% campaign was launched just last year with a TV commercial entitled ‘Why” depicting various situations where friends help each other even if at times it can be a bit inconvenient or annoying. But in the end it is definitely worth it because when you give 100% you get 100% back…and where would we be without our friends? The response was excellent and based on our Brand Tracking research “Why” was the best performing TV commercial in the spirits industry last year leading in Brand Recognition and Advertising Liking as well as many other measures. The solid proof is our position as Thailand’s favorite imported Scotch whisky.” Krisda Kamolvarinthip, Senior Marketing Manager, Pernod Ricard Thailand, added that the new task was to build on the success of last year and strengthen and extend the “Give Friends 100%” idea. This year the second installment of the “Give Friends 100%” TV commercials continues to focus on simple, realistic and fun stories of everyday friends. The ad revolves around a group of friends taking a trip and running out of fuel on the way. A friend comes to the rescue and shares his fuel but he gives too much and he runs out of gas on the way home. Finally, his friends have already reached their destination but of course return to help and all get together to do an environmental activity and enjoy a party on the beach”. To portray the Give Friends 100% concept, 100 PIPERS is hosting a press conference with famous buddies in the entertainment circle, Chakrit Yamnam and Ray McDonald, talking about their long lasting friendship.
