Qantas and British Airways Flights Moving to London Heathrow Terminal 3

Bangkok--21 Oct--Star PR On 29th October 2009 London Heathrow’s Terminal 3 will become the new home for Qantas and British Airways flights between Bangkok, Singapore, Australia and London. Over the last two years Terminal 3 has undergone a multi-million pound transformation to enhance the customer journey at London Heathrow. Enhanced Departure and Arrival Experience For those departing from Terminal 3, some of the key changes and improvements for passengers include; a separate Qantas and British Airways First check-in suite, dedicated Qantas and British Airways terminal entrance and check-in area with up to 20 check-in kiosks, Fast Bag drops, and a new Galleries Lounge for eligible Qantas and British Airways customers. For arriving passengers, there is a new British Airways Customer Service Desk to assist passengers. For eligible Qantas and British Airways customers, access to the Arrivals Lounge featuring showers, relaxation areas, work stations and dining are available. Better Connections to Terminal 5 With Terminal 3 the closet terminal to British Airways Terminal 5, making connections to the rest of the British Airways network is easy and convenient. A rebuilt Flight Connections Centre offers direct coach links to all terminals. Minimum flight connection times between 75 and 120 minutes will apply between Terminal 3 and other terminals, depending on the airline passengers are connecting to. Local Transport The London Underground, Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect all operate to and from Heathrow Central (Terminals 1, 2 and 3) and can be accessed via underground walkways. For coach services, Heathrow Airport Central Bus Station is only a short walk away. Taxi ranks are also conveniently located outside of Terminal 3.
