More exciting new projects are rolling out in Q4 to ensure we surpass the 18 Billion Baht sales milestone at year end
Preuksa Real Estate Public Company Limited (PS) is proud to present its robust business growth with total three-quarter sales reaching 15,046 Million Baht, total revenue closing at 11,287 Million Baht, and net profit obtained at 1,978 Million Baht.
Mr. Thongma Vijitpongpun, President and Chief Executive Officer of Preuksa Real Estate Public Company Limited (PS), revealed that the company’s total revenue from the first nine months in 2009 skyrocketed to 11,287 Million Baht, a 29% increase from last year’s figure of 8,750 Million Baht. Moreover, net profit has also gone up 32% over the previous year to now reach 1,978 Million Baht.”
“Preuksa has greatly benefited from our flexibility and ability to adjust business strategies to suit the ever-changing economic and investment climate. For example, we have reviewed our plans and will now launch a total of 34 new projects in 2009. Also, the government’s measures regarding the 300,000-Baht tax deduction will expire at the end of this year, and this has proven to be a catalyst that helped stimulate our continuous growth this year. In addition, thanks to investment incentives and support from the BOI, we have been able to make it even more affordable for consumers to buy townhouses at any of the sixteen Baan Preuksa and Preuksa Ville projects, as well as, to buy condominiums at The Tree project.” explained Mr. Thongma
“On other business fronts, we have made significant progress on our investment in India. We’ve just bought and completed the ownership transfer of a prime plot of land of 65 rai in Bangalore, and we are in the process of acquiring construction licenses to develop residential property in India. Apart from Bangalore, we have also studied possibilities to invest in other Indian cities. Additionally, our Vietnam investment is in the process of registering our joint-venture company and purchasing a total of 145 rai of land plots in Haifong. Moreover, our investment teams are also actively studying residential behavior of people in major Chinese cities for a possible substantial investment in the near future.”, added Mr. Thongma.
Mr. Prasert Taedullayasatit, Director and Chief Operation Officer of Preuksa Real Estate Public Company Limited, disclosed that, “We are very pleased to announce that, during quarter three of 2009, we managed to once again achieve the record-high sales volume per quarter at 5,998 Million Baht, maintaining a successful momentum from the 5,004 Million Baht achieved in the second quarter. From this figure, 2,892 Million Baht was from the sales of townhouses, 1,817 Million Baht from detached houses, and 1,289 Million Baht from condominiums. This impressive performance has catapulted the accumulated nine-month sales figure to reach 15,046 Million, a 13% rise from 13,302 Million Baht obtained last year. So, we are well on our way to beat the annual sales target of 18 Billion Baht.”
“During the third quarter, Preuksa launched a total of 10 new projects, totaling 4,233 Million Baht. These projects included six townhouse projects worth 2,128 Million Baht; three detached house projects worth 1,461 Million Baht; and one condominium project valued at 644 Million Baht. At the end of this quarter, we have backlog sales volumes totaling 15,202 Million Baht — all of which are to be settled starting this year until 2011.”
