John Northen, Area Vice President, South East Asia of Marriott International Inc., recently announced the appointment of Greg Allen as General Manager for JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa.
Greg Allan joined Marriott in 1992 as Operations Manager at the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel in UK. Four years later in 1996, he worked in the Middle East region firstly at JW Marriott Dubai as Director of Restaurants and then at The Amman Marriott Hotel Jordan as Director of Food and Beverage. From 2000 to 2005, he was Director of Food and Beverage and Resident Manager at Singapore Marriott Hotel. He then transferred to Jakarta as General Manager of JW Marriott Jakarta and Marriott Executive Apartment.
Greg graduated in hospitality management from Napier College in Edinburgh, Scotland. In his prior role, he was General Manager at Singapore Marriott Hotel.
