Bangkok--18 Nov--Sheraton Pattaya Resort’s
Sheraton Pattaya Resort’s ocean-side Thai restaurant, Papaya, will host a unique fusion cuisine wine dinner featuring the much-awarded wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, for one night only on November 27, 2009.
The casual-elegant restaurant will serve Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mapu wine as a pre-dinner aperitif, followed by varieties of the label’s renowned Mouton Cadet wines accompanying a gourmet four-course fusion cuisine set dinner prepared by the resort’s first-rate local and expatriate chefs.
Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA has been making world-famous wines since 1933, including both chโteaux varieties such as Chโteau Mouton Rothschild and branded wines, like Mouton Cadet. Today, its wine-making enterprise extends beyond its native France to California and Chile. One of the key factors behind the company's success is the art of blending, which it is acclaimed as practicing with exceptional skill.
Two of the wine-maker’s Chilean wines and three of its French wines will be presented at the special wine dinner.
The Chilean wines are Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mapu Sauvingnon Blanc, a crisp, fruity and highly aromatic wine, and Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mapu Cabernet Sauvignon which is full-bodied and fresh with a succulent finish.
The three French wines are Mouton Cadet Bordeaux Blanc, noted for its citrus and tropical fruit palette and expressive finish, Mouton Cadet Bordeaux Rouge, a round and rich body wine with a long finish, and Mouton Cadet Bordeaux Rose, billed as brilliantly clear light ruby in color with a fruity nose enhanced by a floral touch and a long, smooth finish.
