“ThaiBev” maintains momentum of success of its Sport Marketing campaigns with Beer Chang’s latest sponsorship for “Phuket King’s Cup Regatta 2009”
“ThaiBev” has geared up its Sport Marketing strategy with Beer Chang’s latest sponsorship for the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta 2009. The sponsorship is part of the company’s contribution to celebrating His Majesty the King’s birthday on December 5th. Also, the unique “Chang Regatta Moonlight Night” party featuring a host of fun-filled entertainment activities on a full moon night will be another major highlight that attracts international athletes and tourists to come to Phuket for a night to remember.
Mr. Charlie Jitcharoongphorn, Deputy Managing Director, Thai Beverage Marketing Co., Ltd., stated that, “As a genuinely Thai corporate citizen with long-term commitment to Thai society, Beer Chang sees the significance of providing sponsorship for yacht racing, the sport that Thai people are very proud of because His Majesty the King was once regarded as the country’s greatest yacht racer. Therefore, we were never hesitant to provide full support for the upcoming 23rd Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, which is scheduled to take place from November 28th to December 5th, 2009, at Kata Beach, Phuket. The event is organized as part of the nationwide celebration of His Majesty’s birthday on December 5th. Also, the competition is aimed at promoting the world-class yacht racing venue and many internationally renowned tourist attractions of Phuket, as well as, stimulating Thai tourism activities during its peak season at year end.”
Apart from the grand competition, another highlight not to be missed for international and local tourists is the “Chang Regatta Moonlight Night” party, co-organized by Beer Chang, the Phuket Local Administrative Office, the Phuket City, the Karon City, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta Association. The all-night party will take place on the full moon night of December 2nd at Karon Beach and is set to feature a selection of great international cuisine and beverage, plus a host of fun-filled activities and exciting performances. These include a Music Battle between prominent international DJs on a large towering platform, as well as, electrifying shows by fire eaters and Beer Chang beautiful dancers. The party is anticipated to attract a large number of international tourists and will contribute to stimulating the tourism industry in Phuket.
