Convoy for Kids to help Underprivileged Children

Bangkok--30 Nov--Thana Burin Asia Pacific AustCham Thailand’s Logistic Sub-committee recently organised its 10th Convoy for Kids accompanying some 200 underprivileged children of several home foundations, including students from Foundation for the Welfare of the Crippled, Pakkred, Nonthaburi, children of Sister Jones group from Klongtoey community and Sor Sor Arsa group from Bangsue community for the special excursion to Ancient City or known in Thai as Muang Boran located in Samutprakarn province. All the children were able to enjoy their experience at Ancient City learning about the historical locations around Thailand. At the end of the event, Mr David Mills (back row — 4th from right), President of AustCham Thailand’s Logistic Sub-committee is seen presenting the cheque worth 800,000 baht (eight hundred thousand baht) to Mrs Araya Arunanondchai (centre — 3rd from right), President of The Foundation for the Welfare of the Crippled, Pakkred, Nonthaburi. Also witnessing at the presentation includes HE Australian Ambassador, Mr Paul Grigson (back row — 3rd from left), Mr Andrew Durieux (back row — 2nd from left), AustCham Thailand President as well as representatives from the supporting organisations and some of the underprivileged children.
