L’occitane, beauty product from France and Baan Saen Doi Resort & Spa in Chiang Mai will organize the charity oil painting exhibition entitled ‘Roses of the North’, by artist and art lecturer Narin Pothisombut during December 14-15, 2009 at Atrium 1st floor, Peninsula Plaza on Rajdumri Road. Part of the sales will be donated to schools and hospitals in the remote area in Chiang Mai province. The oil painting exhibition will be presided over by H.E.Palakorn Suwanarath, Privy Councillor on the first day at 3.00 p.m.
Narin Pothisombut is a talented artist with an art degree from Chiang Mai Technology Rajchamonkol. His painting is inspired by roses from Phra Tamnak Bhubing Rajanives (Bhubing Palace). His painting reflects his pride and passions towards the beauty of nature for roses as ‘the Queen of Flower’. The oil painting roses feature variety species of roses including Queen Sirikit, Eliza, Rouge Meilland, Queen Elizabeth, Royal Air Force and more.
