As 2009 flows into 2010 like water under a bridge, there’s nowhere more fitting to spend your New Year’s Eve celebrations than FLOW. On the banks of the Chao Praya River our outdoor terrace gleams in the cool December air, and dinner dancing and entertainment are provided — all for your delight. Across multiple stages the Flow terrace will play host to spectacular live acts from Korea, including electric classical quintet Electia, who play Samba and Fuego like you’ve never heard it before. Vivid urban dance performances from the Black & Scale Crew will be offset with live spinning from DJs West Coast Mix — and all the while, international cuisine from all over the world is served up in our spectacular open show kitchens. Join us for only THB 4,900++ per person and get the best seats in the house for a firework display that will take your breath away, and the transformation of the terrace into a moonlit dance floor from 10pm, as we count down towards a fresh year of love, luck and opportunities.
See in the New Year in the style to which you should always be accustomed — with a New Year’s Day brunch for only THB 1,500++ per person. If you’re in the mood to continue the celebrations (and why would you not be!) unlimited wine can be enjoyed from the wine buffet for only an additional THB 850++ per person. Alternatively, if you feel like a much needed sleep in after seeing in 2010, join us for our New Year’s Day Buffet dinner in the evening, for only THB 1,950++ per person. Children under six will dine with us for free, and children aged between six and twelve enjoy a 50% discount — so join the party!
THE LANTERN
Feel the glow! Riverside bar Lantern is a great place to watch the New Year’s fireworks reflect off the inky black waters of the Chao Praya River and the clock counts down to midnight. Watch a bobbing boats and dinner cruise liners glide up and down the waters lit with fairy lights, and hear the chink of glasses as friends and family toast 2010. Join the crowd at Lantern with special beverage celebration package for only THB 2,000++ per person.
Contemporary chic at YUAN
Chinese culture specializes in celebrating auspicious occasions and our urban cool Chinese restaurant Yuan is offering classic delicacies and innovative dishes this New Year’s Eve. Enjoy both of the full a la carte menu and set menus, overlooking the winding waters below — floor to ceiling glass windows allow for a dazzling view of the riverine celebrations. On New Year’s day, Yuan is offering a one-day only special a la carte menu, designed to help you mark the start of the new year with a meal that is contemporary, classic, Chinese, cool.
Make a PRIME start!
Awarded as one of Thailand Tatler’s best restaurants for the past three consecutive years, the luxuriously cozy atmosphere at Prime is the perfect place for an intimate dinner with your loved one or closest friends this New Year’s Eve. On the 31st December this year we’ll be featuring a Deluxe a la carte menu as well as the New Year’s Eve Prime Classic set menu, featuring our diner’s favorite signature dishes. Relax in deep red leather upholstery and feel the soft glow of candlelight, clink flutes and the champagne and Bellini bar and, of course, soak up a spectacular view over the river for the firework display. If you join us for the early sitting between 6pm and 8.30pm, you’ll enjoy a 10% discount on your bill. The Millennium Hilton’s newest dining venue offers a celebration unlike any other — this is a journey into the heart and soul of contemporary Thailand and the art of celebration practiced to perfection. Exclusive performances by the renowned Patravadi Theatre are offset by a special Thai set menu at THB 3,800++ per person. After welcome cocktails, with a Thai twist, indulge in a Thai-style banquet overlooking the Chao Praya River from 8pm.
THREESIXTY
Arguable the best seats in the house! Infamous sky-high jazz lounge ThreeSixty is the place to be for New Year’s Eve. Perched atop the 32nd floor and wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering 36 degree panoramic views, this is a venue from which you’ll catch the bird’s eye view of Bangkok lighting up for midnight. Fireworks will shoot, sparkle, reflect and refract — and you’ll be looking down on it all. Watch the skyline light up with a five course set menu from 6pm-9pm, live jazz and a complimentary glass of champagne for THB 12,000++ per person. Alternatively, from 9 pm onwards join us in the bar for THB 2,000++, with your first glass of bubbly on us.
