Bangkok--23 Dec--Royal Cliff Beach Resort
On the 14th December 2009, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort welcomed Ben and Brian from the Ultimate Thailand Explorers — a 6 day competition created by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in order to publicize Thailand’s five top tourist destinations: Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui. Teams of foreign visitors, selected by judges and public voters, explored the diverse attractions and activities at these destinations and then shared this information online in order to showcase the unique reasons these destinations have earned numerous international awards and inspire other travelers to visit Thailand and experience it all for themselves.
Ben and Brian were interested and very excited to pay a visit to the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Jomtien-Pattaya to have a close look at the world famous resort where they enjoyed a tantalizingly sumptuous Thai lunch at the award winning Larn Thong and Terrace restaurant. Some of the signature dishes sampled include Meang Kana (dried shrimps and herbs on kale leaves topped with molasses dressing), Tom Yam Kung Talay (spicy sea prawn soup), Pla Kapong Kaow Pad Priew Waan (fried white snapper with sweet and sour sauce) and Tub Tim Krob Ruam Mit (crunchy tapioca balls in coconut syrup served with crushed ice).
