Mr Takashi Kawamura (center), Chairman, President and CEO, Hitachi Ltd, recently visited Bangkok to celebrate two milestone events: the centennial (100th anniversary) of the Hitachi Group in Japan and the golden jubilee (50th anniversary) of Hitachi’s operations in Thailand. The function to commemorate these twin joyous occasions was honored by the presence of MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra (2nd right), Governor of Bangkok. As part of its ongoing philosophy, Hitachi affirms its commitment to increasing its focus on the global expansion of Social Innovation Business while creating environmental value. It will also continue to contribute to each country’s social and infrastructure development, and it remains steadfast to its belief that companies that provide safe and reliable products while paying attention to the community are welcomed and desired all over the world.
