Bangkok--15 Feb--Fragrant Property Fragrant Property, one of the country’s leading high-end condominium developers, is offering special promotions for two of its projects, “The Prime 11” and “Circle” during the 22nd Housing & Condo Festival by offering buyers a cash savings of 1 million baht or a top up to the rental income to the buyers who would want to rent out the units after they have made their purchase. Buyers of the condominium units in the ready to move-in ‘The Prime 11’ project would be eligible to receive a 1 million baht deposited in their savings account or they could opt to seek a top up of 40,000 to 50,000 baht a month for 2-years as a top up to the rental income they will receive. To give more to the buyers, Fragrant Group has also offered to offer the units fully furnished to the buyers and this offer comes on top of the fact that the units of the luxurious ‘Prime 11’ will be sold at the same price as earlier, despite the prices of condominiums rising over the past few months. Mr James Duan, chief executive officer of Fragrant Property disclosed that during the 22nd Housing & Condo Festival to be held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from 18-21 February 2010, Fragrant will offer discount via offering 1 million Baht saving account for buyers who purchase the penthouse at “The Prime 11”, a luxury condominium on Sukhumvit 11 or the buyers could opt to seek a top up on their rental income for a period of 2-years. In addition, the first 10 buyers for “Circle”, the 4-billion Baht condominium on New Petchburi Road, will receive as much as 200,000 Baht of discount including the offer of having the unit furnished as well. “The pricing of condominium is sure to rise by up to 5-10% during this year especially in good locations and projects that are located near the mass transit because of the rising cost of construction material in the global market in line with the recovery of world economy,” Mr. Duan said. “However, we still maintain the old price for “The Prime 11” and “Circle” which has seen a large part of its units sold out.” Commenting on the possible extension of the tax measure, Mr. Duan said that such a move would be good for the country and the industry and the extension of the measures would have very limited impact on the government’s tax collections up to 20-30 billion baht. Anyway, if the measures are extended it would help the domestic economy’s recovery and stimulate consumption as well.
