Goodrich presents “Shadows On The Wall” collection which revolves around the theme of ‘fashionable’, ‘sensual’ and ‘romantic’. The ‘fashionable’ theme shows a strong reference to Coco Chanel. Her pearls are incorporated in the designs, as is the smoking parlor ambiance of days gone by, represented by wallcovering inspired by Chesterfield sofas. The ‘romantic’ theme gives us roses, in a multitude of manners; based on traditional embroidery techniques and English paper collections, but also in a modern, pixilated way. The ‘sensual’ d?cor shows us parts of classic corsets and fine lace prints.
The Shadows on the Wall collection encompasses fifteen different designs, in various colour combinations. This wallcovering was printed using several techniques and is built up in layers. Engraving, screen printing and the use of foam produce a three-dimensional material, allowing a play of light. This wallcovering by Goodrich is vinyl-based, and therefore chip and scratch resistant and can even be wiped clean. Rolls are 53 centimetres wide and 10.05 meters long.
