Bangkok--5 Mar--SET
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has opened the Maruey Library at Siam University, patterned after the “living library” at the SET. Through its University Networking Project, SET has also helped develop capital market curriculum at this institution to expand understanding about personal finance management and investment. Siam University is the 21st institution to join the project.
“Siam University will work with SET to develop and launch capital market curriculum, including supporting teaching media. These efforts will help create qualified personnel and investors for the Thai capital market’s sustained development,” revealed SET President Patareeya Benjapolchai.
“This cooperation will create an integrated body of knowledge on personal finance and investment, and will also lead to knowledge development that will help create skilled and qualified personnel. Moreover, it will be the university’s center of financial knowledge and investment benefiting our students, faculty and staff, and the general public nearby,” noted Siam University President Pornchai Mongkhonvanit.
