Bangkok--8 Mar--Ericsson (Thailand)
Increased focus on Revenue Assurance on network data accuracy and integrity is necessary to further improve the recoveries of revenue leakages. Today, Revenue Assurance efforts in operators have been successful in addressing areas of organization, processes and tools. However, the lack of technical skills in network elements and its systems is the most common barrier experienced by operators to ensure the accuracy and integrity of source data used in theses areas.
Patrick Lim, Associate Principal, Ericsson South East Asia will explain how engaging a prime integrator can accelerate revenue leakage detection, recovery in the short term and as part of a long term revenue management strategy at 10th Annual Asia Billing and Revenue Assurance Summit in Bangkok on 10th March. Patrick Lim will present value creation through end to end revenue assurance and share practical lessons learnt from a range of business consulting systems integration projects.
Patrick Lim points out that; “Operators generally experience recoveries of 1% or more of total revenues. Recoveries of revenue leakage vary depending on the maturity level of operators. Operators in emerging markets may experience higher recoveries ranging from 3% or more of their total revenues. Ericsson has worked with many operators around the world to help detect revenue leakage and conduct recovery, resulting in a positive impact on bottom-line of these operators.”
The Asia Billing & Revenue Assurance 2010 conference will bring together the leading practitioners of telecoms billing, charging, revenue assurance and fraud management to explore solutions to manage revenues, maximise profitability and enhance the customer experience of new multimedia, multi-platform content services. The conference will be at Centara Grand Hotel, Central World, Bangkok on 09th-10th March.
