EXIM Thailand Appoints New Executive Vice President

Bangkok--17 Mar--EXIM Thailand EXIM Thailand appointed Mrs. Wantana Mongkolsri as Executive Vice President overseeing SMEs marketing functions that include loan, export credit insurance and branch operations, effective on March 16, 2010. Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed Mrs. Wantana Mongkolsri, as EXIM Thailand’s Executive Vice President in charge of Business Promotion Department 2 covering marketing, advisory services and financial facilities promotion particularly with regard to SME clients. She also supervises Branch Administration Department in charge of branch and sub-branch operations in 16 (sub-) branch offices. The appointment became effective on March 16, 2010. Mrs. Wantana obtained Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Business Administration degrees from Thammasat University and had extensive work experience in the fields of finance and asset management. Previously, she served as Investment Banking Manager of Thai Financial Syndicate Finance and Securities Public Company Limited; Vice President of Large and Project Lending Department, SCF Finance and Securities Public Company Limited; and Senior Vice President of Loan Settlement Department 1, Asset Management Corporation. Most recently, before joining EXIM Thailand, she worked as Vice President of Loan Restructuring Department 1, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Company Limited. Currently, EXIM Thailand has 9 branches and 7 sub-branches, namely, Bangna-Trad Km.3, Rama II, Rama IV, Rangsit, Seri Thai, Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Laem Chabang and sub-branches located at Chakkrawat, Tiwanon, Bang Rak, Wongwian Yai, Sathu Pradit, Om Yai and Surat Thani.
