Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is offering Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) members an opportunity to donate their expiring miles to the Chaipattana Foundation. The Chaipattana Foundation, under the patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand and chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, has been instrumental in many development projects to help improve the quality of life of the people and enable them to become self-reliant, for the sustainability of Thailand.
Mr. Aran Apichari, THAI Director of Loyalty Marketing Department, said THAI has organized a number of schemes to entice ROP members to participate in societal activities, in which they can help support a worthy cause such as the Chaipattana Foundation. The donated miles will be used for foundation volunteers, development experts and researchers to travel on THAI, in bringing their expertise to the people throughout Thailand.
All donations of 500 miles or more are welcome, and with June 30 being the last day to redeem 2009 expiring miles, this may be the opportunity to consider donating some or all of their expiring miles. To donate the minimum of 500 miles, members can log on to their account by using membership number and PIN at www.thaiairways.com/rop . Donations are accepted until September 30, 2010.
