In 2005, AirAsia became one the largest customers of Airbus A320 with a firm order of 175 aircraft and an option for 50 more. Deliveries are scheduled up to 2014. AirAsia X has placed an order for 25 Airbus A330s and for 10 Airbus A350s plus five A350s on option.
