Wayne Buckingham, Starwood’s Regional Vice President for Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore as well as Managing Director of the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Corinne Janssen as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Corinne is a self starting individual who embraces new challenge. She brings in over 20 years of experience working in Sales and Marketing with Starwood Hotels & Resorts worldwide. Her career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts started at the Sheraton Sales Office in Brussels as the International Sales Manager. Then, she explores the new challenge with the hotel-based position at Sheraton Ankara Hotel & Towers and Sheraton Voyager Antalya Hotel in Turkey as the position of Director of Sales. With the outstanding production from the previous hotels, Corinne has been offer another great opportunity as the Area Director of Sales and Promotion taken care of 5 Sheraton properties in the Benelux. Then, continued her journey as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Resorts, Denarau Island in Fiji, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Starwood Hotel & Resorts in Tahiti and Director of Sales and Marketing for Starwood Hotel & Resorts, Waikiki overseeing the sales and marketing functions of all the hotel and resorts in the regions. Prior to the current appointment, she was in the pre-opening team of the 4,067 rooms Sheraton Macao Hotel and the St. Regis Macao accountable for all strategies in launching the hotels.
