The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) —Thailand organized Conference at Foreign Correspondent Club of Thailand (FCCT) at 11AM. In order to launch of the second Thailand Refugees Ambassador, Mrs.Chatchanit Musigchai Mahaguna or well known in Ajarn Ann (A.Ann), who volunteers to work with USCRI to provide “education” to the refugee children in Thailand on the occasion of celebration for World Refugee Day 2010 on 20th
While making a speech on panel, Mrs.Chachanit spoke impressive statements about her newly appointed role as, “In this modern world, All men are “not” created equal. But if you are a part of a human race, you should be able to live like one and be respected as one.”
Finally, when she got a chance to be a part of USCRI as Thai Refugee Ambassador, so she will join in many activities with USCRI team in order to be the voices of refugees to call their basic rights and to request that all people should have access to quality education, especially refugee children. A.Ann hopes on one day in the future she can be the one of the door of rights for the refugees in Thailand.

As Refugee Ambassador, Chatchanit (A.Ann) will educated to general people in Thailand and Thai civil societies about the plight of refugees in Thailand and how to make their lives to be provide the education to them especially “refugee children”. Futuremore, she will also share the stories of the refugees’ courage and patience of building their new lives in Thailand.
