100 High School Students Participate in Thailand’s ‘FedEx/Junior Achievement Thailand International Trade Challenge’

Bangkok--29 Jun--Aziam Burson-Marsteller FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company and Junior Achievement Thailand recently held an full day orientation session for 100 Thai secondary school students participating in the 2010 “FedEx/Junior Achievement Thailand International Trade Challenge.” The competition, now in its second year in Thailand, serves as a platform to engage and encourage secondary school students, between the ages of 15 and 18, through their creation of an international ‘market-entry strategy’ for products or services of their choosing and through competitions with their peers who are then evaluated on their proposals by a panel of esteemed judges. The students will be actively mentored during the strategy plan preparation phase of the program which will enable the students to receive insightful and practical guidance on global trade concepts and practices and assist them in the development of their plans.
