Mr. Christophe Caron, Vice President of Sofitel South East Asia & India and General Manager of Sofitel Bangkok Silom, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Virinya Maytheepattanachat as Director of Marketing Communications. She will be responsible for Marketing Communications and Public Relations for Sofitel Bangkok Silom. Prior to this promotion, she has been in the position of Public Relations Manager at Sofitel Bangkok Silom for six months.
She joined Sofitel Bangkok Silom after one year as a Public Relations Manager to be a part of Pre-opening team at Sofitel Bangkok Silom. She also has extensively worked in the Public Relations and Communications field for the past seven years in the leading luxury hotels.
Other than that, she was previously based at Marriott Resorts & Spa Bangkok-Pattaya-Hua Hin as Assistant Cluster Public Relations Manager for one year and at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square as the Public Relations Manager for four years.
She got a M.A. in Mass Communications and Administration, the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications, at Tammasat University and B.A. in English, the Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, Thailand.
