Amway creates jobs for Thai would-be entrepreneurs through its ‘Be an Amway Business Partnership’ business seminar that will provide an equal business opportunity for people of all ages, sexes, educational backgrounds and nationalities. Amway hopes its business-creating seminar would help boosting Thailand’s economy. The company expects to draw more than 200,000 enthusiasts to the event.
Mr. Kittawat Ritteerawee, General Manager of Amway (Thailand) Ltd., says that “Amway has been very successful in creating a sound income-generating business model for more than 320,000 members* of Thai people who enjoy a better life as ‘Amway Business Owner’ — a self-employed and self-managed micro-entrepreneurial profession. As the manufacturer of products, Amway supports our Amway Business Owners with efficient logistics, facilities, and good returns as its ‘business partner.’ Amway’s successful business model makes it Thailand’s best selling direct sales company who, throughout 23-years operations in the country, has given back an accumulative return of more than Bt33 billion — a real tangible economic and professional boost for the country that needs to create mass profession for a sustainable economic growth.
“Amway always supports business opportunity with our ‘Amway Business Owner’ model through regular product and business-creating seminars for our members, as frequent as 1,000 sessions a year. Our recent ‘Be an Amway Business Partnership’ seminar is featured under the ‘Equal Opportunity’ theme where successful Amway Business Owners from various backgrounds such as full-time worker, business owner, freelance, teenager, retail business owner or even disabled people, come to share their stories and experiences about the equal opportunity they receive from this profession. Our business is a true open-for-all career for anyone who is interested in creating their own business or generating a good income of their own. This seminar will take place in 16 provinces around Thailand and we expect to attract at least 200,000 attendants throughout the event.”
“This consecutive seminar will not only expand the network of Amway Business Owners, but will also support those start-up entrepreneurs with our connections that should strengthen their operational base. This should lead to a good career success for all people because when one person’s success leads to others’ success as well,” says Mr. Kittawat.
