Bangkok--14 Jul--IMPACT Exhibition
IMPACT Muang Thong Thani has been chosen by Money & Banking Magazine to be the new venue to hold “Money Expo 2011”, thanks to its appropriate property and facilities. The expo is also to celebrate the magazine’s 30th anniversary. The expo aims to be more successful, attracting more than 700,000 visitors and more than Bt97 billion cash flow. Bus shuttle and hotel services will be fully provided especially for the expo.
The change of venue was announced by Mr Santi Wiriyarangsarit, editor of the Finance and Banking Journal, at a party recently held at Challenger Hall to thank the bankers for the Money Expo 2010. The thank you party which had been usually held after the expo (May 6 to 9, 2010) was postponed thanks to the recent political unrest in the city.
Tentatively scheduled for May 2011 at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2 and 3, the new venue has been chosen because the Money Expo 2011 is planned to be bigger. The new venue has to be larger and proper facilities for the increasing number of visitors. Facilities provided by IMPACT Muang Thong Thani are perfectly matched. With its more than 15,000-unit parking space and the hotel due to open early next year, the venue has been agreed by customers and bankers.
Apart from the appropriateness of the venue and facilities, the venue has been chosen to match the grandeur of the expo to celebrate the magazine’s 30th anniversary. The next expo expects positive response from bankers and financial institutions. It expects an increase of visitors from this year to be at 700,000, and to generate more than Bt97 billion cash flow.
Mr Paul Kanjanapas, managing director of IMPACT Exhibition Management, said the management was pleased for IMPACT Muang Thong Thani being chosen as the new venue to hold Money Expo 2011 next year. To facilitate one of the country’s top five expos, the management continues to provide more infrastructures. The new indoor parking 2 will cater to more than 15,000 cars.
Due to open early next year, IMPACT Hotel is a four-star venue managed by Novotel, featuring 381 guest rooms, and a soon-to-open 2,000-unit parking building. Moreover, a 30-seat shuttle bus will be provided to mobilise visitors to Money Expo 2011 between the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road and IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
