Medical Data Standards Expo

Ramathibodi Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), the Office of the Higher Education Commission, and other related entities, will host the Medical Data Standards Expo. The event aims to inspire new knowledge and promote better understanding by acting as a forum for exchanging information systems experiences between hospitals, thereby helping to push Thailand towards becoming the region’s medical hub.
The event promises to provide knowledge exchanged on various critical topics, notably health information systems, clinical information, laboratory and radiology information, standard medical training, HL7 standard, Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED), and Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC). Visitors will get a chance to learn more about such essential information topics as server systems, database management techniques and telemedicine systems. State-of-the-art medical equipment and technology will also be on display, along with ingenious software for hospital management and a full program of policy-oriented seminars. โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี ร่วมกับกระทรวงสาธารณสุข, กระทรวง ICT, NECTEC, สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอุดมศึกษา และหน่วยงานอื่นๆ จัดการประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติ เรื่อง Medical Data Standards Expo โดยการประชุมวิชาการในครั้งนี้ เป็นการสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจ รวมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ร่วมกัน เพื่อผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางทางด้านการแพทย์ของภูมิภาค
การจัดประชุมวิชาการในครั้งนี้เป็นการต่อยอดจากการจัดประชุมสารสนเทศทางการแพทย์ HL7 (Standard for health information system) ในปีที่ผ่านมา ที่มีการระดม แนวคิด ประสบการณ์ นวัตกรรม ด้านมาตรฐานสารสนเทศทางการแพทย์ในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล ทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นการผลักดันด้านมาตรฐานการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลทางการแพทย์ให้เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างและมีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยสามารถช่วยเพิ่มพูนความรู้และเป็นเวทีในการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ เพื่อพัฒนาความรู้ความสามารถของบุคลากรด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการแพทย์
