Bangkok--24 Aug--Maxima Consultant The mid-Autumn festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in Chinese calendar. It is a date when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest. Traditionally on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon and eat moon cakes under the moon together. To accompanying the celebration, AIS led by its Executive VP-Customer & Service Management Ms.Vilasinee Puddhikarant and S&P Chairman Ms.Patara Sila-on, organized an event to introduce the ‘Oonjai Moon Cake’, the Chinese pastries tradition with an imprint on top of Oonjai icon (limited edition) at special prices for AIS customers at S&P outlets nationwide. The event was held at S&P outlets, RSU Building. Guests also enjoyed and learned the stories of Chinese Moon festival by Chitra Konuntakiet, a well-known writer and guru on Chinese tradition. Many distinguished guests and Thai-Chinese familiar socializes joined the party including Khunying Supatra Tantipipatpong, Dr.Thip Amatayakul and daughter Sorat Amatayakul, Phornpun Phornprapha, Pornpan Pookaiyaudom, Srisuphang Morris, Lapapida Lorkitiyakul. In addition, the Giant round moon cake measuring about 60 cm in diameter with a thick filling ingredients flour, syrup, a lot of sugars, 20 kilograms of Durian and 40 eggs was made for sumptuous taste.
