SOSUCO and Group (2008) Co., Ltd., leader of ceramic floor and wall tiles marketing - subsidiary to SCG, would like to introduce the newly-designed tiles under Earth conservation concept. As a new alternative for nature lovers without harming environmental resource, these tiles perfectly provide cooling into house with emotion and fineness like real wood.
The tiles are produced with rectified process to smoothen their edges, so they can be tiled closely with at least 2 mm. of grout can be seen for more natural atmosphere. They are released in 3 different designs and sizes, which are Jamaica, Silkwood and Tamarind, of 15x60 cm, 30x60 cm, and 60x60 cm. About Sosuco conserving environment
SOSUCO and Group (2008) Co., Ltd. owns 2 production factories in Saraburi Province, which are SOSUCO Ceramic Co., Ltd. or SSC and the Siam Ceramic Industries Co., Ltd. or SGI. The average production capability is 4 million square meters per month, or 48 million square meters per year.
SOSUCO and Group have determined to apply zero waste to landfill process. Wastewater will be treated and reused in the production process for 100% by 2012.
At present, SOSUCO and Group have operated more than 90% of the mentioned process. Waste from office and factory are sorted out by categories. Production wastes, such as tile pieces, dust from air pollution treatment system, and dregs from water treatment system, are reused as tile composition. As well, wastewater is treated to be reusable for manufacturing and cleaning the factory. The mentioned projects is followed up, evaluated, developed, and improved continuously by SOSUCO and Group. They have been meeting success and achieving sustainable result as targeted.
