General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the Northeast into the low pressure cell over the middle South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Continuous rainfall remains some heavy in the North and the Northeast the East. People in risky areas should beware of the severe conditions.
The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are about 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea, 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf, and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
