The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the upper South, and the East. Including the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period. Continued rain is likely over the country with isolated heavy rain. During 8 - 9 Oct, the active low cell over Cambodia is expected to move to the East, the upper Gulf of Thailand, and the upper portion of the South. Including
the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain are forecast in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central, the East, including Bangkok and vicinity, and the the South.
During 8 ? 14 Oct, the wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen because of the strong southwest monsoon . Wave height is likely 2-4 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, about 2 meters in the lower Gulf of Thailand and more than 4 meters in thundershower areas.

People in the risk areas of Thailand should beware of severe conditions. All ships of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower areas. Small boats should keep ashore during 8 ? 10 October.
